David James McKinney is a singer/songwriter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He has been active since 2001, releasing music as a solo act, with his eponymous band and in the band Tasty Bang. His music has been compared to Jack Johnson and Ed Sheeran drawing influence from folk, rock, country, reggae and pop music. In the Fall of 2021 David self released his latest album "Phaneron" and returned to the OKC music scene, playing live with a combination of live looping acoustic guitar, beatbox and suitcase drumming to create a unique solo performance.
