EP. 13. "High on Tulsa Heat" This week we got a helluva good one... We sit down with singer/songwriter Clayton McKinzie from the Band Gypsy Store Troubadours. Clayton and company have deep Oklahoma roots, and are staunchly devoted to telling those stories through the power of song of living life "Where the wind comes sweeping down the plains..." We talk a wide range of stuff, including the deep Oklahoma connections to some of the biggest names and most respected artists in the history of recorded music. And, how ironic it is that some of the biggest songwriters in the music world tend to live somewhere off the beaten path somewhere between Tulsa and here. You can check out Clayton and the boys are currently recording the follow-up to their award winning album, "Small Town Sounds" and, you can catch them probably where you'd least expect it. They can be found all around Oklahoma and the regional area now with live music coming back.
